John Boos® Shipping and Cancellation Procedures
CAUTION: Freight ClaimsBefore accepting any shipment, examine it carefully and note any damage or shortage on the Freight Bill before signing for delivery. All claims for shortage or damage must be filed with the carrier. Title passes from John Boos & Co. to the purchaser at the point of origin of shipment. If, after receipt of shipment, concealed damage is discovered, immediately notify the delivering carrier requesting immediate inspection. The inspection report should be used to support your claim against the carrier.
Cancellation PolicyAny special orders that have been entered into production cannot be cancelled without paying all costs incurred by our company in the preparation of special plans, materials purchased or produced. No changes can be made once a "special order" has been entered into production. Any costs incurred therein will be the responsibility of the customer. Purchase orders may be changed up to 14 days before the scheduled shipping date without penalty, if production has not commenced.
Absolutely no order changes or cancellations will be accepted within 14 days of the originally scheduled ship date. |
