Metro pioneered wire shelving systems with the development of the tapered split sleeve. Using this proven method, shelves can be readjusted at precise 1” (25mm) increments along the length of the numbered posts. All Super Erecta posts come standard with adjustable leveling feet to compensate for uneven floors.
Select a variety of post and shelf sizes and finishes to meet your specific needs. Electro-polished, Type 304 Stainless Steel or chrome plated available. Super Erecta shelves provide approximately 76% open area.
ESD Classification: Non-Conductive (Units can be made conductive with the addition of aluminum split sleeves.) For mobile applications a drag cable must also be added.
The Metro® Chrome Finish is a durable multi-layer coating consisting of bright nickel and chromium with a Metrolac top coat. Intended for primarily dry storage applications.
Posts are the long, slender "poles" which will support your shelves. They can be used for either stationary or mobile applications.
Metro® StemCaster Posts are SiteSelect™: grooved at 1" increments and numbered at 2" increments. Posts are double-grooved every 8" for easy identification. These SiteSelect™ posts come without a leveling bolt assembly to accomodate stem casters.
